Freedom House

Founded in 1993 by Maureen Riopel our services are available to men 18 years and over.

Freedom House is dedicated to providing the highest quality of individualized treatment for alcoholism and chemical dependency in a caring and compassionate environment. Confidentiality is maintained with utmost respect. We treat individuals with dignity to replace hopelessness, fear and despair, with optimism, hope and a new vision for life.

Our staff will help you work things out and find realistic solutions for your problems. We will help you to identify negative behaviours that enable the destructive patterns of addiction to continue.

We strive to help you change by providing a positive environment  which includes the 12-Step AA model and  cognitive therapy(CBT,REBT).These have proven to be effective in helping clients become more aware and responsible  for their actions.

Being in a therapeutical community on a daily basis continues to show clearly the benefits that one can achieve by participating in educational  classes,group therapy, arts and crafts, sports, and one- on- one counselling.
